Firefox frustrations

The time (clock) is wrong on all sites including local sites, file modification time is wrong.

• Change: privacy.resistFingerprinting = false

Odd things related to the install.

• If sound fails for firefox but works for other things, check if sndio is installed and remove that.
• Firefox from pkg also requires pango compiled with libthai option, pango pkg does not have this.

Build failure due to cargo/rust

• Custom kernel builds must as yet include compatibility for FreeBSD 11 or cargo cannot build for rust bootstrap which firefox requires.

Clickable links fail to function.

• An update to a dependency has broken firefox, restart firefox if the dependency is cured, or rebuild and reinstall firefox, or both.

Online things fail to function.

• Enhanced tracking protection is enabled for the site.
• Ublock Origin or another addon is causing problems for the site or form on the site.
• An update to firefox was done but may not have been noticed, close and restart firefox.

Default web browser is not accurate.

• Verify desktop file: ls /usr/local/share/applications/browsername.desktop
  Set the desired default: xdg-settings set default-web-browser browsername.desktop
